It's a combination of clearly defined goals, values, personality attributes, and style preferences that is unique to your business.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE MY COPY SOUND LIKE ME?

Part of my #WordNerd status includes a knack for picking up on the language and tone nuances that make people sound unmistakably themselves. During the discovery process, I use questionnaire responses, conversations, existing material and some online sleuthing to draw out what makes your voice distinct and apply it to your copy.

 

WHY SHOULDN'T I JUST WRITE MY OWN COPY?

If you love to write, have the time and are confident that you can whip up words that’ll draw in customers like crazy – go for it! You absolutely should write your own copy! However, if you don’t feel savvy when writing for your brand, aren’t sure about the science behind copywriting, or are strapped for time like most business owners...it may be time to hire out and get it off your overflowing plate.
